Hi Billy, We didn't have an opportunity to reflect about the camp on the last day. Just wanted to send some input. First off, I
REALLY enjoyed myself. I know you ran into some "situations" during the camp and in a perfect world farts would never have
lumps, but sometimes they do...(does that sound like a "Higgins-ism"?). The pitching stations with Ruben was a terrific benefit. I
didn't realize how screwed up I was. The base drills really helped many of us, and thanks for the extra 2 man mechanic session. I
saw improvement in myself and others on each rotation. You had a good group of instructors that weren't afraid of letting us know
our weaknesses, which anyone that wanted to improve appreciated. At my age, I'm realilistic about my umpiring future and how far I
can go, but at what ever level I'm at, I'll be excited to put into practice what I learned at your school...I mean camp. You're a
fortunate man to be able to live the dream...and with a beautiful wife and a great son...your 're blessed and don't ever forget it. I'm
already putting my $50 a month away for next year. Thanks again for all your hard work.

Billy I just wanted to say thank you again for the umpire's camp that you put on for us. Although you, the staff and the campers had
a few challenges to overcome, it all worked out very well. I hope to attend another camp. Thank you.

Billy:
I wanted to take an opportunity to thank everyone involved with your camp. I couldn’t have had a better time. Yes I, as well as
everyone else knew there were problems. I think those were handled very well. Like you said, as umpires, you are always in an
adjust mode.
I think the sandwiches are a great idea, and the way they were set out worked well. Having that many campers scrambling to find
lunch would have been madness. The pre camp menu check off worked out great as well.
I think that the anti wicking mock turtleneck in black, and white, with the Black and Blue logo would be a great selling item.
Everyone uses them under their uni and if it were me, I would make all Black and Blue logo’d items available only to those who have
attended the camp. I don’t know how much trouble it would be to keep a camper data base, but if you show the logo in your
catalogue you will get a lot of interest that way.
Putting the crews together and giving the itinerary in your emails worked out great as well. My crew mates and I had contacted
each other before the camp. I saw that some of the guys were looking to find who they were with just before they left for the different
venues. I think that even having a crew chief might be helpful.
I have more ideas, I am still excited about the camp. Some camps I have attended, by the time the last day rolls around, I am
thinking, I am ready to go home. This one, I wanted to stay and do more. I am still not ready for it to end. I learned one hell of a lot
to put in my tool bag. Some camps I have gone to, think that making you look dumb one the field works. Each and every one of
your staff made me feel like they were your crew mate giving you a little tip on what they saw and how it would make you better.
Again, thanks to everyone, including all of the students for one hell of a great time. I am putting my name in for registration right now
for the three man mechanics camp nest year. If possible, I am bringing my truck next year. I have a 12 foot enclosed Wells Cargo
trailer I will bring to haul stuff if you have a use for it.

Billy,
I wanted to take time to let you know what a great job you and the whole staff did putting on the first annual BBUC (hopefully you
have stopped pulling your hair out.....Denise was worried that you were going to look like Riles before it was all over). There is no
place that I can think of that you can get the quality of instruction from the BEST NCAA Umpires in the business today for that
price. The experience is one that I plan on repeating again for a week next year and I will encourage both experienced and
promising new umpires at PSI to join me.
Thanks Billy to you and Denise for a great experience. Hope to see you when D1 starts it's new long term association with PSI in
January.
Regards,
Terry Frugoli
Billy,
Just wanted you to know that I really enjoyed your camp and learned a lot the four days in Sacramento. Will there be a link for the
other umpires that attended the camp; I would like to keep in contact with my group. Take care and look forward to seeing you in
Arizona for the NCAA clinic.

Billy,
Just wanted to say THANK YOU again for everything. It was really great meeting you your wife Denise and the rest of your family.
What you put together for this camp from the Staff Instructors to being able to have 95 UMPIRES to believe and TRUST in YOU! I'm
lucky to have been able to participate in BBUC 2010 and looking forward to BBUC 2011 but mostly I hope I can work for you some
day and have you believe and TRUST IN ME. If we don't talk before Phoenix meeting in January, Happy Holidays to you, Denise,
Logan and the rest of your family. In ending Billy you ever think of running for Governor? If you do you got my vote!!! :)

Billy,
I wanted to drop you a note to say Thank You. I had a great time, met some incredible guys and learned a whole lot! I'm hoping
what I learned and who I met will help me get into the JC rotation. It was also a pleasure getting to know you and meeting your
family. You have a huge heart, Billy and I plan wear the BBUC attire with pride here on the Central Coast.
Take care and hope to see you in the future.

Billy,
Thanks for the great camp. I really liked how you dealt with some situations on the fly. More 2-man was a big help to me and
several others, we all talked about how good it was for us. Your faculty was not only very skilled but, a fun bunch of guys. After the
rain plan I woke in the night and decided to head home (daughter's birthday and I missed the other one's on Friday ) before traffic.
Phil Morrelli sat down with an hour or so and I really enjoyed hanging with him, what a great guy with wonderful stories. Thanks
again!!
Doug Semler
Thank you Billy for a great week. I will spread the word for next year and bring back as many as I can from my group!
Hope to see you again soon.
Bob Snyder
What a stupendous camp! My thanks and Congrats to all, what an absolute Top Quality collection of Instructors. And Billy, with all
the set-backs, schedule changes, team no-shows and/or delays, you showed a very exemplary level of composure. Thanks for
being a Model. I'm already leaning toward next year. Thanks for all of your efforts, your structure, your adaptation, your training, and,
of course, all of the stories and laughter. I feel I have extended my family. Top Notch! (And, give special thanks to your Parents,
Denise, and Logan!)
Carl Root
Billy,
Thank you for the experience of a life time. Thank your wife and staff for all they have put into making this an experience to
remember and walk away with better tools to becoming a better umpire. I plan on coming back to improve even more on mechanics
and game management. This is right up there with the Cooperstown experience. Once again thank you.
I felt the best part of camp was the easy access to the instructors. The camaraderie of all umpires to share their stories.
